Council mode runs more than one model against the same prompt and surfaces differences before you merge.
Enable
Open Settings, find Council (or multi-model review), and choose which providers participate. You need at least two configured providers.
During a run
Smith shows each answer side by side. Pick the line of reasoning you want Apprentice to follow, or ask for another round.
When to skip it
Small edits and known-safe refactors may not need council. Use judgment: council adds latency and cost.
